SYMMETRY RYOHO®
Gentle Yet Effective Therapy From Japan
What is Symmetry Ryoho?

Symmetry Ryoho is a safe and gentle, but effective alternative healthcare system from Japan. It assists the body in realigning and balancing itself, thus promoting increased circulation, more relaxed breathing, straighter posture and increased overall health and vitality.
Our bodies naturally become misaligned and unbalanced over time. Unfortunately, we have difficulty reaching our optimum health and potential under these conditions. The Symmetry Ryoho practitioner uses gentle, noninvasive light touch and action to assist the body in aligning and balancing itself. For example, light touch to various points on the body, and gentle, light movement of various body parts. Sessions are done fully clothed, so there is no need to disrobe.
Who Receives Symmetry Ryoho treatments?
People of all ages and all states of health receive Symmetry Ryoho treatments. It is safe and gentle and uses the body's own innate ability to realign and balance itself, so it can be recommended to anyone.
Generally a session takes around 30 minutes, sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on the client's needs. Traditionally in Japan, sessions are done on tatami mats, but yoga mats, bodywork tables, hospital beds, chairs, and so on are also used.
Is Symmetry Ryoho Safe?
Symmetry Ryoho is safe, gentle and noninvasive. There is no forceful manipulation, impact, or 'popping' of the spine or joints. As with any healthcare modality, results of any kind can not be guaranteed. Every client is different, and every session is different. However, after a session, many clients report that they feel and look "taller". Undoubtedly, this is a result of the body realigning and "straightening" up. Often clients also report feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and more energetic.
How Many Sessions Are Necessary?
Clients often report excellent results after just one session. However, most states of unbalance take time to develop, and so take some time to support and rebalance. Therefore in the beginning, clients are recommended to have a few consecutive sessions over the course of some days or weeks. Once balance is restored, clients usually request an occasional maintenance session.
